Oman and RCSI Bahrain Formalise Landmark Higher Education and Scholarship Agreement

RCSI Medical University of Bahrain has recently formalised a significant cooperation agreement in higher education and scholarships with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in Oman.

This landmark partnership, signed by Professor Sameer Otoom, President of RCSI Medical University of Bahrain, and Her Excellency Professor Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, the Omani Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, is the culmination of many years of dedicated work and fruitful collaboration between our University and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in Oman, bringing a long-held vision to fruition.

Under the new agreement, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in Oman will sponsor a select number of students for the Medical Commencement Programme (MCP) or the Undergraduate Medicine Programme. This agreement is pivotal step will empower the next generation of medical leaders and reinforce the University’s commitment to enhancing healthcare education in the region.
