New series of MyHealth RCSI to explore stories of family carers, asthma treatments and sport for brain health

RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences has launched the 2025/26 programme for MyHealth RCSI, which offers free events, stories and science for everyday health, led by experts who are bringing breakthroughs to life.
RCSI is proud to announce PRESIDIO, a global digital services and technology solutions provider, as the new partner of the MyHealth RCSI programme which includes live events and on-demand content.
The upcoming MyHealth RCSI series, in partnership with PRESIDIO, will explore important health topics starting with stories of family carers and supports to help them to stay well while caring for a loved one.
The second discussion will explore the latest thinking on asthma and will take place as an in-person event at RCSI’s St Stephen’s Green campus in Dublin’s city centre. The free event will feature healthcare providers and patient advocates.
The third discussion will centre on how inclusive sport powers brain health and helps people living with neurological conditions.
In 2026, the series will feature conversations about air pollution and what we can all do to breathe better, the role of the heart in overall health and what to consider when travelling abroad for surgery.
Together with PRESIDIO, MyHealth RCSI is creating a space where lived experience and expert advice come together, helping everyone explore, question and understand their health on their own terms.
Professor Fergal O'Brien, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation at RCSI commented on the series, saying: “We’re delighted to have PRESIDIO as partner of MyHealth RCSI. In an age of misinformation and information overload, people need clarity, empathy and trust. Expert panels will bridge the gap between world-class medical research and everyday life through clear communication, inclusive visuals, and relatable storytelling. MyHealth RCSI brings science to life in a way that feels personal, inclusive, and genuinely human.”
Bríd Graham, Senior VP of Presidio Europe, said: “At PRESIDIO, we believe that technology should enable people to live better, healthier lives. Supporting MyHealth RCSI is a perfect alignment with our values of empowering communities through access to knowledge, compassion, and innovation. We’re proud to partner with RCSI in creating a healthier future, one conversation at a time.”
